PreK Paint Session: Puffy Paint Flowers! In-Person
Puffy Paint is shaving cream, glue, and paint mixed together to become a fun art experience! The texture when it dries is like nothing else. For ages 2 and up. This activity can be messy, so please wear your art-friendly clothes. Please register so I can contact you in the event of illness or bad weather.
Art is more than scribbles and glitter. It encourages critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making -- all of which are important skills that we can foster from a very young age. When creating art with toddlers, it's important to remember that the attention span at this age is very short, under 10 minutes! Keep the experience short and fun!
Follow their lead and let them decide where things should go and what colors to choose. Arts and crafts are often one of the earliest ways children can make decisions for themselves. There is no right or wrong!
