Protecting Our Brains: Read-Aloud and Arts with Brain Waves for Change In-Person
Join us for an interactive read-aloud and art activity, where we’ll explore the functions of our amazing brain and why we need to protect it! For ages 8-12. Registration Required.
Brain Waves For Change, a youth-led organization, is hosting a fun, educational session where kids discover the wonders of the brain through a read-aloud of The Brain in Your Body by Bridget Heos. After discovering the importance of brain safety, they’ll unleash their creativity by designing their own creative “brain helmets” using markers and colored pencils. This event combines education with creativity, encouraging kids to protect their brains in a fun and memorable way!
The brain is amazing, and it’s up to us to keep it safe!
