Family Drop-in Art: Spring Collages

Family Drop-in Art: Spring Collages In-Person

Join us for art and playtime! We will make lovely spring collages using contact paper, paper shapes, feathers, sequins, and other bits and bobs. Some toys will be available for play. For ages 2 and up.

Art is more than scribbles and glitter. It encourages critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making -- all of which are important skills that we can foster from a very young age. When creating art with toddlers, it's important to remember that the attention span at this age is very short, under 10 minutes! Keep the experience short and fun!

Follow their lead and let them decide where things should go and what colors to choose. Arts and crafts are often one of the earliest ways children can make decisions for themselves. There is no right or wrong!
