Current hours (though late December): Tuesday through Saturday, 10 am - 5 pm. Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day. The site will hold a special Labor Day program on Monday, September 1st at 1 pm. A list of upcoming special programs is available at: https://www.nps.gov/sapa/sapaprogsched.htm
To really engage the history of these centuries-old grounds, encompassing the museum, historic church and the historic cemetery, you should allow about 1.5 hours.
Through December, tours are available Tuesday to Saturday, at 10 am, noon, and 2 and 4 pm. Advance reservations for tours are recommended, at https://recreation.gov/ticket/facility/10088445.
