Three categories of museums are listed on our "Browse by Institution" page:
Passes: These may be borrowed for four days, i.e. if you pick it up from the Adult Services Desk on Tuesday, it is due back on Saturday, and must be returned inside of the library during library hours. Reserve for the date that you are picking up the pass from EPL, not the date you are visiting the museum. All reservations must be authenticated with a library card number and password. Passes are available to Eastchester Public Library cardholders, and Friends of the Library who have paid the current year's dues. (Mohonk Preserve pass is available to any Westchester library card holder.) If you are finished with a pass earlier than it is due, please return it! One Pass per family at a time.
Coupons: These must be picked up from the library, and do not need to be returned. Reservations are not necessary. American Museum of Natural History coupons are limited to Eastchester cardholders and Friends, and are limited to one per family per calendar year.
Free for All: Museums in the New York Metro Area that are always free to visit for anyone.
When you are prompted for a login, please provide your library card number (without spaces) and your PIN (which is generally the last four digits of your phone number.) Please call the library at 914-793-5055 or email info@eastchesterlibrary.org if you have trouble making a reservation.
