Film Series..."And the Oscar Didn't Go To!" The Prestige In-Person
We will view some of the movies that didn't nab the Oscar but still won our hearts! This month we will screen The Prestige starring Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman.
This is a thrilling Edwardian London story about two rival magicians. After a tragic accident during a show, they become bitter enemies. One performs the ultimate trick—teleportation—and the other becomes obsessed with uncovering its secret. His dangerous experiments push him to the edge of madness, risking the lives of everyone around them. Rated PG-13. 2 hours 10 minutes.
